Australian sales and service of Steele and Händle machinery

Steele Australia has provided machinery, parts and service to Australian customers since 1958. Our largest extruder, the Steele 90 Series, sets the standard for the Australian brick industry and our machines produce most of the bricks made in Australia.

Our parent company, J.C. Steele & Sons, acquired the assets of the company’s long-time Australian agent in 1996, to better serve our customers. Following Steele’s acquisition of Händle in 2001, Steele Australia introduces sales and service of Händle machinery.

Steele Australia is based in the Melbourne suburb of Bayswater, with a full warehouse to support all Steele and Händle machinery. We handle light manufacturing and assembly of components such as custom dies and bridges.

We also offer rebuilds of Steele and Händle machinery and operate a satellite laboratory to evaluate raw materials for stiff extrusion. Our engineers and lab technicians can help you develop extruded products to meet your performance, handling and cost objectives.

Steele Australia sells, services and supports all Steele and Händle machinery — even feeders, hammermills, roller mills, crushers, disintegrators, mixers, pug sealers and extruders, plus all dies, bridges, auxiliary equipment, tools and upgrades.
