Steele Incla IIIB Grinder

The Steele Incla IIIB Grinder is a direct descendant of the originals built by Thos. C. Fawcett, Ltd. Steele engineers incorporated gears, bearings and seals from U.S. suppliers, adapting the design for operation as a dry pan grinder or rim discharge grinder.
Our Incla IIIB delivers reliable consistent output, with low maintenance requirements and fast replacement of wear parts. This is a self-contained, oil-retaining, dustproof unit, built with our virtually indestructible ductile SC iron, with all wear parts cast from our high-chrome iron alloy.
Offset rollers for “heel-grinding”
The center of each roller shaft is offset by four inches from the center of the vertical shaft, producing the famous Incla “heel-grinding” action. Other features for ease of operation and service include:
- Adjustable spiral main scrapers with renewable high chrome iron alloy shoes control tire wear.
- Self-aligning footstep bearing housing contains separate roller thrust and radial bearings
- All ball and roller bearings use superior oil, grease and dirt seals
- Vertical shaft supports large, efficient worm reducer drive.
- Screen plates available in drilled steel or cast high chrome iron alloy
